Mein erstes Data Science Projekt

In 2015, I landed my very first data science project. The client was a clothing retailer. We confidently told them that if they gave us their data, we could analyze it within 40 hours and quickly identify ways to save money. Then we received the data, and spent the first 40 hours just trying to understand it. Three months passed. When we finally came back, the client said: "We already knew this."

That first project taught me three lessons I still follow today: 1. Never promise results before you've actually looked at the data. 2. Don't disappear into a rabbit hole. Stay in contact with the client. 3. Always show something within two or three weeks, even if it's just a rough prototype.
