Voice Cloning mit 5 Sekunden Audio
Last week, I cloned my own voice with 5 seconds of audio and an open-source tool I found on LinkedIn. Then I sent a voice message in fluent Finnish to my partner's family in Finland.
Honestly, I was just as surprised. I knew voice cloning was possible. But I didn't expect it to be this easy.
There are already cases where people cloned a CEO's voice, called the CFO, and pushed through fake payments. After testing this myself, I sat down with my parents. We agreed on something simple: If I ever call asking for money urgently, don't act on it. Instead, call me back, and ask for a specific word only we know.
AI is amplifying old risks at a completely different scale, and most people aren't aware of how accessible this already is.
